Cass Deller is a Noosa-based artist and surface pattern designer who creates beautiful hand-painted artwork for textiles, wallpaper, clothing and products for brands around the world. Inspired by nature and the beauty in everyday life, Cass has built a thriving creative business and now shares her knowledge, teaching other artists how to turn their own artwork into surface pattern designs and build creative businesses of their own.

There’s something incredibly peaceful about watching Cass create. She paints with such a natural, intuitive flow, and we wanted her personal branding photographs to capture that same sense of ease and connection to her creative process.

We began our shoot in Cass’s home studio, surrounded by her original artworks, paints and beautiful collections. A thoughtfully curated rack of clothing featuring her designs gave us the opportunity to showcase how her artwork moves from paper into beautiful, tangible products.

Cass also created an incredible, oversized hand-painted mural that became the backdrop for some of our portraits. It was such a lovely way to incorporate her own artistry into the images, creating something completely unique to her.

We finished our shoot at the beach, surrounded by the natural beauty that inspires so much of Cass’s work. The soft light, coastal landscape and gentle movement felt like a beautiful extension of her creative world.

The result is a collection of warm, natural and thoughtful personal branding images that celebrate Cass as an artist, designer, educator and the woman behind her beautiful work.
