What is Eyes of Love?
Eyes of Love is a boutique photography studio that specialises in working with female entrepreneurs to bring their business and brand to life through natural light photography, coupled with a sense of ease, flow and fun.
I don’t live nearby but would LOVE to work with you! Do you travel?
I certainly do! In fact, it’s one of my favourite things about my business. Whether it’s a quick flight interstate or a longer sojourn overseas, I’m always keen to scout for new locations with you. Just get in touch so we can discuss costs and see if our dates align fingers crossed.
I want to look absolutely fabulous in my pictures! What is the best thing to wear to my shoot?
A big smile and whatever makes you feel most comfortable! During our pre-shoot consultation, we’ll chat about outfit selection, hair, makeup, accessories and props you may like to bring along to your shoot.
For more in-depth hints and tips on how to prepare for your photo shoot and nail it like the gorgeous (girl)boss you are, download my free eBook ‘Oh Shoot! A How-To Guide For Loving Your Time in Front of the Camera’.
I’m a nature-loving babe who wants to shoot outdoors. But what if it rains?
As awesome as I try to be, I haven’t yet mastered controlling the weather.
(I’m working on it).
If dancing in the rain isn’t your thing and we can’t find a suitable alternative location to shoot in, we will liaise together to reschedule our session. Don’t worry; I’ll give you as much notice as possible.
Do you shoot indoors?
As you've likely seen from on my online gallery, I'm a natural light photographer, and therefore, most of my shoots are outdoors. That being said, I regularly shoot indoors, utilising natural light and have some simple lighting equipment I can bring along.
If it’s a full studio lighting set-up or flash photography you’re after, I’m probably not the best fit for you.
What is the process for reviewing and picking my photos?
A few days after our shoot, I’ll email you a link to your private online proof gallery. The images are set out beautifully, side by side, making it easy to compare and select your favourites.
The email you’ll receive has step-by-step instructions on how to choose your photos, and if you need support choosing, I'm just an email away to help!
Your images will remain in this gallery for one month.
Can I request any changes or edits to your work?
My editing process includes exposure adjustments, colour balancing, cropping, and subtle skin retouching. I want you to be completely happy with your photos and will work closely with you to ensure the finished product reflects your vision. If there's something that doesn't align with you, feel free to share your concerns with me, and we can go from there.
Having said that, I do - lovingly, but firmly - stand by my editing style and aesthetic. And if you’ve chosen to work with me, I’m guessing there’s something about it that captures your eye (and heart) too.
What’s your policy on Photoshop?
When it comes to re-touching your face and body, I follow one simple rule: If it’ll be gone in a week, it’s okay to tweak.
Everything else is staying – beautifully, naturally - as we see it in person.
Eyes of Love is proud to promote healthy, honest, and realistic body image practices across all facets of the business, including editing.
How do you deliver my photos?
All images are delivered as High Res files via Dropbox, within two weeks of making your final selection (not your session date).
Can I order additional shots?
You sure can! Just get in touch with me using the form above, and I'll send you my pricing.
What if I lose my photos?
Don’t worry; I store all images for 12 months. I’ve got your back, sister. I highly recommend that you make two backups of all of your pictures, both on a hard drive and through a cloud-based backup program.
Are we are a good fit? Should we work together?
I specialise in relaxed, natural photography so you won't see any 90s-style glamour shots from me! Likewise, if you are looking for a photographer who specialises in avant-garde styling, or edits heavily, then I’m probably not your girl (but I wish you the best of luck with your search!)
But if you’ve read this page and liked what you saw, then I think we’re going to get along like peas and carrots (or like wine and cheese).
Send me an email and get in touch, I’d love to connect!
Do you really love olives and Oprah that much?
You betcha’, babe.
